Was only a matter of time I guess before rumours of some of the features starting getting out. Full PNG support would be nice :)

Yeah! Overlaying graphics would be very cool!

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Looks like Firefox has finally made enough of an impact to up the release date of IE7; here's hoping that all those little quirks that drove so many away are finally addressed - looks like they're off to a good start with support for PNGs and CSS2

I'd like to see somthing like the netcraft security toolbar added. Don't suppose that's asking too much is it?

From what I read MS doesn't plan on implementing full support for CSS2...

I really dont understand what the big deal is. It cant be that hard, I mean they program operating systems. Is it that much of a daunting task to implement standard interpretations? Come on... I know they like to add in their own quirks and whatnot, but whats the big deal.

I´ve also heard that IE 7.0 will only be supported by Windows XP Service Pack 2.

The Mozilla developers have also said they do not plan on fully implementing CSS2. I've only heard Opera say that they aim to implement the entire standard.

You also have to understand that Microsoft sees their implementation as the standard. I have to agree with them, the market has spoken.

I got that several times in bugzilla. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/

I don't remember which CSS2 items I was concerned about at the time, or else I would try to look up an example quote.
