After we re-designed our site and decided to add a forum, we decided we weren't going to re-invent the wheel, Snitz has already done a great job of that.
With a few relatively simple changes, the forum blends smoothly and elegantly with the design of the rest of our site.
The forum url is http://www.kosinfo.gr/forum/
Who knows, maybe we'll see some of you in Kos. |

I like the way you have the weather on there. Nice feature. Is this a mod ? |

We used a site intergration mod. The right side of the forum (where you see the weather) is an included file 'inc_site_right.asp' and this is part of the mod, without the weather of course. We have a weather application that uploads a weather file to our site via ftp every ten minutes. This file is consequently named 'wx.html' We opened up 'inc_site_right.asp' and added the code <!-- #include file="../wx.html" --> where we wanted the weather to appear. The ../ is there since the 'wx.html' file is not uploaded to the forum folder but rather to the base root of the site.
The files created by the mod are have also been inked to a css as is the forum itself, as we wanted to change the default textfields for login and logout etc. |

Kudos! A really great site, nice layout and very well implemented. A little slow to load and navigate, needs more bandwidth. |

You're right, the bandwidth left much to be desired yesterday while server maintenance and upgrade was in place. It seems to be running a lot smoother today. |
