I have a small community that when the administrator posts, or anyone else, I want to ensure that all the members receive an email to advise of the new post. Is there a way to force the subscription status? Some members forget to subscribe to the forum.

Many thanks!

My problem is members to our forum are unable to remove their subscription from topics. Being the administrator, I have also found I cannot do it for them. The site is at http://www.asra.org.au/forum/default.asp and the version is V3.4.05.

Barry,

I just signed up and tested the Subscription and it allowed me to Subscribe and UnSubscribe as well. All your user need to do is to go to My Subscriptions and click on what they wish to be removed from. You as an administrator can go in to All Subscriptions and remove users down the list that want to be removed.

I hope that helps..

Cheers,

David Greening

Thanks for your reply David. I tried both venues and unfortunately they did not work. I wonder if this is due to the firewall (ZL) or perhaps cookie control.
