 Subscriptions not working		  New Topic  Topic Locked

Hi I am running a forum using Snitz Forums 2000 Version 3.3.05.
with SQL server 2000. The forum is hosted on IIS 5.0

at www.payglobal.com/Newsgroup

For the life of me I cannot get the subscriptions to work as in send email notifcation happening. I have set the Allow Forum Subscriptions
and it still will not work. Am getting desperate.

I am thinking of upgrading to the latest version using the same database. I am seeing in the postings here that other people are having problems with this in the latest version too.

I am losing alot of hair with this as I do not know how to fix it.

I can send members emails so I know the CDONTS is working but for the life of me the auto emails will just not work..

You need to edit each category and forum properties and set a subscription level compatible with the one set in Admin Options.

I am admin and also moderator. Plus I am subscribed to the forum.
I do not get an auto notifiacation of a member has replied to a topic.

I have set Categories to allow Forum subscription and also Forum to allow Forum subscription.

As administrator I am subscribed to all Forums and still zilcho

most frustrating indeed
