There's only one way to do it, I'm afraid; there's no "magic" solution for upgrading and keeping all your changes.

01) Shut down your forums and take a backup of your current files and database.

02) Unzip the 3.4.05 files into a new folder on your server (remembering to edit config.asp).

03) Run setup.asp to upgrade your database.

04) Test that all is in order.

05) Reapply your mods, including dbs files, testing as you go. If you feel confident enough working with Snitz you can do this step before uploading the files in step 2.

06) Delete the folder on your server containing the 3.4.03 files and rename the new one to whatever it was.

07) Open your forums.

You're welcome The important thing is to take backups as you go, just in case you screw things up; that way you can roll back to the last working copy and try again.

Shaggy,

Just visited your website, really cool.

Did you actually integrated your website database with the forum?
I am interested to explore this cause mine has never being integrated :p

I was going to say "Which site?", but that would have been a stupid question as both my sites run off the MEMBERS table (and more) of the Snitz database! It's not that difficult; once you're familiar enough with the Snitz database, it's easy enough to pull the information you need.

Merge the members database? As in you've got a seperate members database for the rest of your site? I'm not too good at doling out the advice on that, but I'll do me best. Only thing is, I don't provide help by e-mail, I'm afraid.
