Hi guys,
here you can take a look of the strange situation appears two days ago...
The forum's code has not be touched since December 2004, and i've no idea what can be happened.
The value reported "79" is fix since yesterday evening (it seems no increament/decreament), before (two days ago) was "81"...
Any ideas ? |

Im not sure if I understand your screenshot totally. Do you wonder why your record is higher than the number of registered members, as well as why the record was lowered?
Regarding the AU-record reset, do you use ms sql as your database? If so, there are others who have reported that their record has been reset to a lower value. The only common factor has been the database (ms sql). No one has been able to identify the cause yet, as this seems to happen infrequently. |

Hi masterao,
Yes.... a) Active Active Users = 79 b) Total Members = 57
a) Has always worked correctly... and know the value is increased with any reason.
No, I've always used Access from the beginning...

Hi ruirib,
yes this is possible... but for which reason the value doesn't come back to the right value? |

OPS! Do you mean that field regarding the number "79" is for the higher n° of visitors in one day (registered members + other kind of visitors) instead of the n° of registered (active) members on the total? |

Yes, I mean that field. A spider indexing a site can count as a different visitor for each page visited, so it's not that surprising that the number can get to that value. |

Oh thanks ruirib for this info... The translation made in Italian for these fields is ambiguos... The following is more clear...
"Indica Utenti Attivi" should be replaced by "Numero più alto di utenti online" and "Indicatore attivo" shoud be replaced by "Giorno di massima attività"
Thank you very much for your help, patience and time. |
