What is a signature as it applies to the forum. Is this a graphic of the users signature or what?

A Signature is something that is added automatically to a message a members posts. I.e. my signature says: [ b ] Pierre [ /b ]
(extra spaces added to stop it from converting) And that is what you see under each message I post. You can leave it empty without a problem, this is a simple one, but as you can see in the other posts, you can use different colours, alignment, graphics etc. all the thing you can use in a normal post.
Here comes my signature again:
Pierre |
