Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |

I've just noticed that the sticky topic doesn't stay at the top of all pages only the first page on forum.asp and not on other pages when paging is used, for example...
forum.asp?FORUM_ID=18&sortfield=lastpost&sortorder=&whichpage=2
wont show the sticky topic?
What can I do so it does show on all pages, thank you |

the base script won't let you do that, it's only made to stay at the top of the first page, and I don't think there's a mod already written to do that so you'll have to write your own mod to do that or ask someone else to if you want to be able to do that. |

I might have this somewhere, just searching
Sorry, don;t have, yet there is another Mod you could possibly use, depending on what you are looking for. News Mod from Wes Brown - Newsmod34v160.zip . |

One way to do it would be to build a seperate query to pull the sticky topics from the database and then exclude sticky topics when pulling the rest of the topics. That way you'd have two recordsets you could work with and manipulate however you want.
