                      | OK, here's my first mod, be gentle with me
It's really not my mod, it's really Da_Stimulators mod updated to work with Snitz 3.4.05. It should work with any 3.4.xx version, but I've only tested it on 3.4.05. I also tested it with Access db and MSSQL 2000 db, but again, it should work with mySQL.

I also updated this mod to follow the Snitz look/feel so if you have custom colors, etc., they will be reflected as well.

This mod allows a forum admin to control (add/remove) moderators from default.asp

by popping up the moderators control panel

If you go to the admin moderators through admin_home.asp, it will pop the same window.

Let me know what you think, or if you have any ideas to make it better.

                      | Nice work, H, welocme to the wonderful world of modding Quick suggestion for the next version though: How about using the select boxes used on post.asp to make the addition/removal of multiple moderators a little easier?

                      | That's a great idea! I didn't even think about that, I'll take a look at it and play with it this week. |

                      | Shaggy,
I've been working on that for almost the whole day today. Unfortunately, I've come to the conclusion that I'm not at that level of programming yet. Maybe I'll try to tackle that sometime in the future.

 Great suggestion, in any case!

                      | Wasn't suggesting you do it right away; just a suggestion for a future release - those select boxes can be a pain in the face to work, even when you know Snitz inside out!

                      | Yeah, I didn't figure you meant right away, but I'm home all the time right now and had nothing better to do. So when I started looking at it and playing with it, I realized the enormity of what it involved. I was able to get the boxes in to the pop_admin_moderators, but getting them to populate properly...just trying to find where all the variables are defined, where the javascripts are defined, making sure they are included in the pop_admin_moderators...whew...not like I need to tell you, right? Needless to say, I got pretty frustrated and my last post was 100% frustration speaking.
I'm better now, but it's still a pretty big thing. I'll keep playing with it, it's an excuse to really learn asp, which is not a bad thing to put on my resume!

                      | Updated readme.txt. It needed to include the change for inc_iconfiles.txt. The zip file to download has been updated.
