The easiest and best way to deal with the forum is to download it, have a go at trying to set it up somewhere, and if you get stuck, then ask a question and only post it in 1 area, not 2 as you did with this post. And if you want to be a developer, it is best to try as best you can, and if you get stuck, there is a search function here that is a place to look for answers first. I found tha t to be the best way to deal with it, try and learn from experience.

Cheers,

David Greening

Subscription level defines at which you level you can choose to subscribe to be notified when someone makes a post. You can do it at board level (a single subcription will give you notifications on all posts made - but only for categories and forums where you have also set the subscription level accordingly!), category level (only the categories you usbcribe to will generate notifications), forum level (you can choose only some forums to generate notifications) and topic level (only topics to which you susbcribe will generate notifications.

Regardless of the level set in Admin options, I repeat: only the categories and forums for which you set a Subscription level will generate a notification. To set the level of categories and forums, you need to edit its properties, from default.asp, by clicking the icon.
