Have you read the readme file included in the zip you downloaded?

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |

Dec,
What do you want to know, please be specific about it. I can help you get it set-up if you like, but if you are finding it hard to understand now, then it is only going to be harder when it comes time for you to install mods. I know that eventually you will want to add something that you have seen/read about somewhere and want it for your forum.
I take it you have a host that will run Snitz forums for a start. If it is not a Windows host, then it will get rather difficult for you than it already is.
I don't want to put you off, but it would be better if you set-up Personal Web Server (PWS) on your system if you do not have Windows 2000 where you would need to set-up IIS. Then when you have that running, play with the Snitz Forum software and try to get it running on your own, then if you have no luck, ask on here what you can do when you come to a problem to fix it.
