ahem installed the avatar mod...now where do I upload my avatars to do I make a folder for them up just upload them to the site...I tried uploading them using the tool that comes with the board but I can't do that
The simplest way for you (the admin) to upload your forum avatars is to use the Mass Avatar add function which can be found in your Admin Options Directory. Be forwarned....it is very particular about how you specify your avatars destination and originating folder. For instance if you saved your avatars into an avatars folder within your images directory your opuputs would be something like this:
The new avatars are in a folder called: Images\Avatars/ The main avatar folder is called: Images\Avatars/
The simplest way I did it was just save everything into that folder and run the above location to update the db otherwise it will keep on giving you errors about the location of the files.
