Hi,

Where does the striping of HTML occur (what file/line)? And when does it happen? right after a post? or does everything go into the database with HTML, and then it's striped before being displayed (if HTML is off)...?

Thanks for any info...

HTML isn't stripped, it's just < and > that get replaced with < and > if HTML is turned off. This is done using the HTMLEncode() function in inc_func_common.asp which is called in the ChkString() function in the same file.
