One of my members is having trouble trying to change their e-mail address. As admin, I tried to change it for them and also received this message:
There Was A Problem With The Details

Your request was not sent due to the following error: The server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server response was: 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

What does this mean?
I am using the latest forum, mods made are Mikes uploads and active users. site can be found at http://www.asra.org.au/forum/default.asp a rotorcraft forum.

Thank you

That means your email server is not accepting the messages being sent to the member changing the email. You can turn email validation Off, change the email, and then turn email validation On again.

That could only happen if you, as an admin, would try to modify the SuperAdmin email. Was that it?

The message makes me suspect that you were not logged in as admin, or that you were trying to modify an superadmin account without being the superadmin. I see no reason for it to occur in other circumstances.

Thank you, I managed to change it somehow. Yes I was logged in as admin but why couldn't the member change his own e-mail address?

Again, I see no reason for the member to change its own email, after the change to the email validation.
