I am looking for an alternative way to add new members when the Register option is off. If possible in any way I would like Administrators to be able to create new memberprofiles via Admin Options or via the members list.

Is there any mod to do that, or can anyone help me moderate the code so that it works that way??

Edit:
Forgot to write the members shall not apply for a registration themselves, the idea is that I manually add everyone when they register a supportservice that I manage. Now I do this turning the Register option on and off every time.

You can just hide the registration link for non Admin members. This post shows how. Just test for mlev > 3.

Thanks ruirib, thats the way to do it! Works out fine and has the possibility to make moderators add new members too. Nice..

One small problem left. The member I add get an email when I finish the registration. Where in the Snitz code do I prevent that? I can't find an option i Admin options..

What email is that? An email with a link to click, so that the email address can be validated?

Sorry - not username.

It says that the user recives the email because he registered at [forumname] and now have the possibility to write topics and post in others topics. Then a link to the forum and under that it writes the password that the user choose at registration.

Finally a short information how to edit the userprofile.
