You have to enable non-Anonymous access for the forum on the server first.

Whatg exactly does that mean? and how do I get it fixed? I would like to use NT Authentication so my user do not have to log in.

My SQL server does require authentication.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Do you know what NT Authentication is?

OK they were talking about IIS Anonymous access not SQL Server Access. Message should be more clear.

Umm, no, that's not the only help you can get. Why you ask?

NT Authentication uses the users registered on the windows server to authenticate the users that log in on the forum.

I'm not a pro at NT Authentication myself, just played with it on my computer. Have not played with it in a live setting.

But to use it, you would need to disable anonymous users on your server. This is a server setting that your admin would need to make. Because you are going to authenticate each user that visit your forum, anonymous users won't be able to visit the site. So hence you have to turn it off.

Last I checked, this option is found in the Directory Security tab in your Properties of your website, in IIS.

The term server was a litle vauge. I did not know what server was being refered to. I finaly determined it was the IIS server that was being refered to and it is now working.
