Hi, having problems with the setup.asp file, I have set the config.asp file using text editor, uploaded all files to my site, however whenever i enter
http://www.cheapfloridavilla.co.uk/forum/setup.asp
my computer was opening the file in dreamweaver so removed the file setting now it just opens the file in explorer and just displays all text and doesnt run the file.
Obviously I am doing something wrong any help would be appreciated.
the database on my server is MySQL, and the settings in config.asp are :
'#################################################################################
'## SELECT YOUR DATABASE TYPE AND CONNECTION TYPE (access, sqlserver or mysql)
'#################################################################################
'strDBType = "sqlserver"
'strDBType = "access"
strDBType = "mysql"

strConnString = "driver={MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver};option=4;server=localhost;user=cheapfloriuk;password=********;DATABASE=cheapfloriuk;" '##MySQL w/ MyODBC v3.51
'strConnString = "DSN_NAME" '## DSN

many thanks

mark

That means your host does not support ASP. See this site to find yourself an ASP host.
