hello guys .. i am facing a problem ...

i need when i press a button i want the browser to close and open another browser with the page i want ... so could i find any help over here

I suppose a simple hyperlink won't work for some reason?

You'll need a bit of javascript to do that.

<a href="URI" onclick="window.open(this);window.close;return false">LINKAGE</a>

Where URI is the address of the new page you want to load.

this code it didn't work what i have done is remove window.close from the parent page and put it in the next page when it loads ... so what happen here is

parent:
<a href="URL" onclick="window.open(this);return false">LINKAGE</a>

next page:
<body onload="opener.window.close()">

and that will work ...
