Hello,
I'm trying to move my forum from one server (Windows 2003) to another server (Windows 2003).
I've moved all the content and it is configured to use the Jet driver to an access database. I've verified the path, and that the directory the database is in, is writeable by the IIS user. The forum is actually working on the new server, but on a different sister site using the same access database.
When you try to hit the forum (default.asp) the browser keeps waiting for a response but nothing ever comes back, and eventually (within 30 seconds or so) the Application Pool that the forum is running in will stop, with this in the Application Log
Event Type: Warning Event Source: W3SVC Event Category: None Event ID: 1009 Date: 2/9/2005 Time: 2:55:46 PM User: N/A Computer: C22314_49034 Description: A process serving application pool 'DefaultAppPool' terminated unexpectedly. The process id was '1832'. The process exit code was '0xc0000005'.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
I'm not sure what the version of the forums is. Hopefully someone can help quick, cause this is a major function of the clients site.
Thanks -Al |

Try going to setup.asp and see what happens. |

Just a word of caution, Access DB's on Server 2003 seem to be quite unstable. |

setup.asp did the same thing.
I finally downloaded the access db to view it, and I could open it fine, but I went ahead and did a compact & repair on it, and re-uploaded it. Once I uploaded it everything was fine. |
