I have just installed Snitz, i have used this before without too many problems. It was not allowing me to see the members (ther were 3). I have replaced the database, set the tables and set up the forum again.

Before i reinstalled it, i was trying to log in and it wouldnt give me the admin user option. I checked from the database tables that my user name was correct.

I seem to be able to do everything now - except view the members list. It says "Problem you need to be logged in to view this".

Has anyone else had this? Any suggestions>?
many thanks
emma

did't you check the config.asp (around line 73) for this number:

Const intAdminMemberID = 1

Open de DD and check the admin id (if you are the admin with the name emmagale, then get that ID) and replace it with the red number.

Now run the setup in admin again....hope it will get you on your way.

Hi there - thanks for your reply.

1. I have checked the config file and yes that line is 1.
2. In the forum members table my Member ID is 1.
3. I also have the MTitle in forum members as Forum Admin.

I have looked through the remaining tables and I cannot see anywhere else that either my ID or Admin is.

Thank you for your help.
Regards
emma

Make a new user, then edit that line (see end of post) to show the new members MemberID number.

Const intAdminMemberID = 1

Sorry im not sure Im following what you mean.

Do you mean create a new user in the login box on the forum page?

Then go to the database and amend Const intAdminMemberID = 1 to whatever the ID of the new user is?

Also not sure what you mean when you say "see end of post"?

kind regards
emma

what kind of OS are you using to test your forum on?
Is it live on the Inet so we can see it or just a local pc?
