Hi

I have setup the forum but when I make attempt to make changes when in Admin Options, it keeps asking me to log in. I have allready logged in as says it at the top left, "you are logged on as..."

I cant make changes like ranking system, colours....etc

Any advice would be apreciated, i`m sure i only have to change something in the coding...

Cheers
Rob

You have to login again to get to the admin options.

You wouldn't happen to be hosted on Windows 2003 by any chance?

I think it might be because your host has a web garden set up in IIS.

You can find out by putting your domain into netcraft - http://uptime.netcraft.com/up/graph

Its a bit like a virtual web farm. IIS creates a number of processes (configurable) instead of just 1 for a website.

You would have to track the sessions across processes to stay logged in which would require some coding.
See the last post here - http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=52225

In the meantime you could edit the database directly.
