Hi,

In the top left hand corner of my forum there is a URL which I can't figure out how to remove www.lostbattalion.co.uk/forum

I had a peek in the inc_header and inc_site_header but cannot locate this URL.

I am using V 3.4.03 on a ODBC Access database.

Thanks in advance.

I would guess that its a a response.write in inc_header.asp

Can you post a text version of it?

Hi Podge,

The text reads

I did a search for the text in the inc_header.asp with no joy.

My guess is that you won't find that text in inc_header.asp

I meant;

1. Copy the code in inc_header.asp
2. Put it in a file called inc_header.txt
3. Upload it to your website
4. Post a link to it here.

You dont want to post the contents of your config.asp file though.

Perhaps it'd be more helpful if you told us where you got the forum from? its definately not standard snitz (which means this thread really shouldnt be in this forum...)

Or which mods you have installed...

I had a look in the config.asp, no luck.

Here is the text version of the inc_header.asp

http://lostbattalion.co.uk/inc_header.txt

I got the forum from shn which is a fully modified Snitz V3.4.0.3 from

http://www.shnforum.com/forum/sitenews.asp

Also appologies for posting here, I didnt realize that this section was for standard snitz only, my bad :(

Can you not do a search on that folder looking for files "containing text" and have it look specifically for that text? It has to be hard-coded in there somewhere.

Thanks Podge !!!

Found the bugger, there was an include in the config.asp

"inc_iconfiles"

The first line were:

http://forum.snitz.com/archive/default.asp?catid=25&cattitle=Support+Sites<%

If you delete the include for "include/inc_page_counter.asp" in your sitenews.asp, you should get it working fine as well.

I use SHN my self.
