For the past couple of weeks... we've only been able to get onto my forum at random times of the day. More often than not, we are just getting the following error message:

unspecified error
/masey/forum/inc_header.asp, line 129

When you go to look at the lines of code it is referring to, you see the following:

128 set my_Conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
129 my_Conn.Open strConnString

I haven't changed any settings or tinkered with any files since last September and the forum has been going great guns since that time... but this new glitch is driving me mad!

Does anybody have any clue what the problem is? Has anyone experiences this before? Could it be that the server owner has tweaked his box such that it is now causing problems with my forum? If so, why does it only work sometimes. Like right now, it's working fine... but 15 minutes ago it was cactus...

Thanks in advance...

~ Masey

Before I get to the database... I'm using Snitz Forums 2000 Version 3.4.04 if that helps!?!?!

And I'm using Access for the database...

Sounds to me like there might be some server issues going on. I'd contact your hosting provider and ask them if anything is going on (they might be upgrading, or moving your site, or something).

He's a mate so I'll smack him upside the head and see if he has any answers for me...

Thanks... I may be back!
