OS: Windows Server 2003
DB: MS SQL Server 2000 SP3

Problem: The error code is in the subject line of this topic.

No matter what I do, no matter which username I use (that's setup correctly in SQL Enterprise Manager) I still get this error message when trying to run setup.asp

I have everything specified correctly in the Connection String line and selected the first SQL string listed in the config.asp file.

Am I missing something?

I'm new to Snitz Forum 2000 and am experimenting with it.

The SQL Server must be configured to support both Windows and SQL Server authentication, and the login you use must be an SQL Server authenticated one.

In Enterprise Manager navigate down to your server.

Right Click the server. Click Properties.
Goto Security Tab.
Change Authentication to "Sql Server and Windows"
Click ok.

You may have to restart the server before changes take effect.
