How do I reset the admin password that I have forgotten. I am using access and Version 3.4.03 of snitz.

If you have email enabled on your forum, you can use the "Forgot Your Password?" feature which you can find under the login box.

If that doesn't work you can download the database and reset the admin password and re-upload the database.

If you have to manually reset the password in the DB, you will have to use the encrypted form.

You can get the encryption for a word if you want by going to http://kizzelwhix.net/test.asp?sha=test

replace "test" with the word you want to encrypt.

That link may not work forever, but it will be there for at least a week

You have to remember the passwords are stored encrypted. So if he is going to "reset" it as you suggest, he would have to store the encrytped format of a new password.
