Has anyone done something like this: a program that takes feeds from news sites (maybe does searches based on keywords that are relevant to your site) and auto-posts them as topics on your forum? Might be kind of useful.
There are newsfeeders out there, through rss/xml which you can post on your forum through a javascript. But what you looking for seems more like a spider/crawler, since it's based on keywords. At the other hand, there should be so many RSS providers that you can select one which fits perfectly with your site's content.
