Hi,
I'm quite new to ASP and a having some problems with my board.
I can log into my board no problems, but when other users try to log in it looks fine until they click the continue then on the next page where the board is meant to be there is the message:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'
Type mismatch: 'recForumCount'

/forum/default.asp, line 406

Any help in solving this problem would be gratefully received.
Thanks
Stephen Brough

PS. I've searched the forums for a solution to this problem but I couldn't find anything that helps.

This is happening because you have deleted all forums. Create a new forum and the problem will go away.

Hi,
The forum is working like a dream, better than any PHP based ones I've used in the past. Cannot fault it. People have signed up and I've had no reports of any problems.
Thanks for all the support.

There is a pink folder, that shows New Folder when you hover the mouse over it. Use it to create the new forum.

What did you do to fix it, for anyone who may have the same problem as you in the future and pull this topic up with a search?

Search is your friend
“I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the
fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had
taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.”
