For over the past year I have been using an open source web application using .NET for my blog which was originally provided by Scott Watermasysk called .Text. Scott went on to a company called Telligent Systems and evolved/integrated his product into Community Server which integrates the Blog along with a Forum and a Photo Gallery. Oddly enough the Photo Gallery uses nGallery which is a free .NET Photo Album that I've used in the past and thought was a great product.
Anyway, just wanted to share this information with anyone interested in either learning .NET, or needing a blog, forum and photo album all wrapped up into one community. The product is still in BETA mode and there are quirks but the technical support forum there was very good and I got mine up and running in an hour.
