Hi, it seems like I am the only who has a problem with implementing this mod. This is what happens: I can normally see split topic icon, when I click it I will get to the split.asp page where replys are displayed, I check which I would like to split, click on Split and I will find myself on post_info.asp without any text and topic is not splitted. What could be the problem? Thank for help. |

You didn't make the changes to your post_info.asp file. If you did, you didn't upload the updated file with the changes. |

OK, Heres wierd! I found the rest of the alterations and made them. Now, I can happilly split threads. I set the view so that I see oldest first and split from thread divergence, ao, for example, start with posts in this order 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
I want to take from post 3 on to the end and create a new thread, so it would then be
1 2 and the new thread 1 (3) 2 (4) 3 (5) 4 (6) 5 (7)
But what I get in the new thread is
1 (7) 2 (3) 3 (4) 4 (5) 5 (6)
Now my lot dont talk a lot of sense anyway, but this makes it look silly! My stopgap solution is to write a reply saying something about moving from a thread or introducing the thread, THEN split so my latest reply becomes post 1 and everything else follows on. However I am sure you guys have a better idea??? |

Hmm, I will look into that Dave. In the mean time, can you post a link to a txt version of your post_info.asp file? |
