sadly here in America a lot of people think of 8 ball as "one eight of an ounce of cocaine, approximately 3.5 grams" ... well besides the actually billiard game that is.

I always, thought it meant "behind the 8 ball" or "snookered".

and what's an example of how you'd use it? I have a person asking on one of my forums and I really don't know the answer.
