I started with a new database from your download. Went through the setup and config. I can log in and do admin work, and it says that I log in successfully to the forum but doesn't really log in - doesn't show admin options etc.
can someone tell me what I have done wrong or what I can do right to correct the problem, this has happened to me three times. Thanks in advance Joannicius
Yes, thanks. That and as many other things as I can think of. I even built another complete site on my son's website (on the same root server) and it works fine.??????

For some unknown reason the cookie was (is) being wrongly created if you use cookies set to forum. I've changed the cookies from forum to website and it seems to be working. Delete your cookies before trying to login and then login. I expect it to work now. It works for me.
