hi, I have configured snitz forums on my computer and it is great! I have modified the forum and it all works fine. However, I recently uploaded to my web space and it wont work at all. A page does come up and it does contain the forum titles etc but you cant log in or anything.
I think it may be something 2 do with the connection. On my computer I have a DSN called ptcdesign. I have the same thing on my web space and so the connection string in config.asp was changed to strConnString = "dsn=ptcdesign;". This works fine for my other asp pages - its just this forum.
Secondly I thought it maybe was a problem with the base URL's. I have made sure they are all ok. For example the forum base URL is set to http://www.ccmplanet.com/forum/ . This whole thing is weird.
Please help! If you would like to see the forum it is located at www.ccmplanet.com and go to forum on the left navigator bar. Thanks! Peter
Your Application Variables weren't set, which is a common occurence when you move your forum from one place to another. Should be good to go now. BTW, I didn't really do anything, just ran setup.asp (which didn't really run, just got to the point where it wanted me to login, which of course I can't).
