Howdy all!! It has been a long time since I have posted here (because I am extremely happy with Snitz Forums and have not had any problems in a long time hehe). For Background - I work for a small roleplaying game company called Iron Crown Enterprises and we use Snitz for our company forums, and have actually gotten at least two other companies using Snitz as well.
So, this morning, my boss comes to me and says that he needs two things for a new project he is working on.
1) He needs a way to have a website where a portion of the site is open to all, and the other portion is open only to subscribers. This includes forums, and other pages on the site. The site needs to have a global log-in capability, with the ability to mark certain pages as being required to be logged in to view.
2) He also needs online store software that allows for subscriptions, and a running total to a person's account (i.e. for this site, the person will be charged a monthly fee of $12, which will be put into the person's account giving them a $12 dollar credit (cumulative over multiple months).
Now, I am still researching for #2, but my first thoguht for #1 was Snitz. I am not positive, but I had thought that I had seen something here, or read about something here (or about some specific mods) that would allow me to be able to accomplish what is required for item #1 on the list above. However, I am having problems locating it.
Thus, my request for help. If you know where I can find what I am looking for, please let me know. I would appreciate it very much! Thanks...

Search these forums for the ServerHacker and Image forums. They are premodded, and will give you some of the functionality that I think you're looking for in #1. As for #2, I'm now sure. You might be able to actually get Snitz to do that, but you'd be getting in above my head. |

Well, #2 is for the online store software, and I had been hoping for something that allowed for integration with #1.
I will do the search for those two fully modded ones you mentioned.
ruirib - It is a two-level setup. Level one is the public pages, which anybody can access, and level two is the subscriber (i.e. registered people) pages and can only be seen by the subscribers.

This is not a response to your request, Rasyr, but the topic is the same heading I need.
I'm looking for software (again, Snitz preferably) that will allow the interaction - but will also let members upload documents. This client has a high level mastermind group that wants to discuss online and also share Word and Excel docs.
Will Snitz do this? If not, do you know of anything else that will?
Thanks for your help.

Thank you, Impact - great resources. Indeed, I believe they will solve the problem. Thanks so much (and yes, next time I'll start anew. Thanks for the guidance)
