Ok another dumb question and I am fairly sure its just that I am lazy, BUT

Trouble/Wish ==
Here is my delima -
When I post a message there are times that I wish I could just finish typing and hit CTRL S (similar to what I do in Mail...SEND)

I have spend a few hours looking at various codes and the definition of Access keys and I havent found anything yet.

Has anyone ever written anything or seen something that would allow for the typoe of function that I am asking about?

Any ideas?

Are you talking about posting a topic or replying to a thread?

If you are it should be a browser (client) based event rather than an access / asp one.

Yes when either posting a thread or replying to one, I was hoping that someone could point me in the correct area.

See here - http://www.cs.tut.fi/~jkorpela/forms/accesskey.html#ex

Add accesskey="s" to your form's submit button (on post.asp I think, I haven't tested it)

<input type=submit value="Submit Reply" accesskey="s">

Alt-s should submit the form for you.

I don't know how you would change it to CTRL-s.

There is a lengthy discussion and article on it here;

You're welcome.

It only works with browsers which support accesskey's.
