Is there a way to implement the smilie manager mod onto the quick reply? If not could anyone tell me how i would change smilies already on my quick reply with new ones please? Any information appreciated Thanks

I did this recently but modified mine a bit more... however, modifying the code in topic.asp as below should work for you.

make a new inc_quick_smilies.asp for the quick reply, then you can edit it as much as you need

Could anyone tell me how i can edit the text area's size on the quick reply? I wouldn't know where to start PeeWee, i know html but asp i am still trying to grasp

About 8 lines down from where Dayve told you to add the include, you will find this:
" <td class=topicdark> <textarea name=""Message"" cols=""60"" rows=""6"" wrap=""VIRTUAL""></textarea> <br /></td>" & vbNewLine & _

Edit the 60 for left to right and the 6 for up and down.
