Hi there,

My forum is hostet on a b-one server supporting ASP and MySQL and apparently runs the standard snitz forum like a charm.
However when I try to install the New Event Calendar Mod I get the following error:

* Error Type:
Sun ONE ASP VBScript compilation (0x800A03F4)
Expected 'If'
cal_functions.asp, line 555, column 10

This line 555 is empty so I guess the problem is in another file.
I am a complete newbie with regards to ASP, MySQL and VBScipt so does somebody have a solution for this issue other than finding another host?

Provide a link to the file in .txt format so we can see the error....

There's nothing wrong with this script. The error must actually be on the page which calls it. Try looking at the default.asp "include" command.

Try this line:

%><!--#INCLUDE FILE="cal_default.asp" --><%

(the instructions don't include the % >< % ).
