If I try to check the existance of my forums in Google then it shows only the title of the forums in all results. Is it possible to show our Forum Post Subject in Google result. E.g if you write in google search box

site:enoise.net.

It will give you 10-12 results of site inclussion but all with TITLE
"Enoise.net, Discuss & Find Answers to your Technical questions.". I want to show the Forum Topic (Subject) in google. like in site:yahoo.com.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

I think there is a mod for this - http://www.snitzbitz.com/mods/details.asp?Version=All&mid=127

If it doesn't suit, you would have to create a description meta tag in inc_header.asp and fill it with the topic text.

Thanks for your help. I am now able to install the MOD now but still getting the old results in google. Is that because google have to update its database or it will come for all new posts. Please clarify and Many Thanks. Please check from http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=site:enoise.net&hl=en&lr=&filter=0

Try adding your site to google again, their spider may re-index it.

It will probably take a while. 8 billion indexed pages is quite a queue.

No need to resubmit your site if it's already in the index, the spider always comes around eventually.

In fact, Google's deep crawling right about now, and (just checking...) I've had a couple of thousand pages added today. Nice!
