I am new to Snitz so please bear with me...I have set up a forum on my local IIS machine, gone into the admin options and set some colours (header background colour = blue and link decoration = linethrough)

I have then uploaded the database to the site on the internet. I then made some changes to the local version configuration (different colours) and uploaded the db again. However, the changes did not appear.

What is the best way to reset the variables? I found another thread where someone said run setup.asp (BTW this is available even when not logged in as admin - isn't this dangerous?), I tried to shut down the forum and rerun it but that didnt work, I know I could use application.removeall but where would I put it?

Thanks for your time everyone who helps me

Mike

Login as the admin, go to the Admin Options and click Check Installation. That should do it.

Running setup.asp will bring no problems. It won't change anything if the forum is already setup, it will just reload the app variables.
