For those guys who are having a problem with the first topic code being all messed up, change the same line OneWayMule suggested to this instead:
strSql = strSql & ", '" & ChkString(Reply_Message, "") & "'"

I will update the mod with the fixes on Sunday evening. So you can wait until then.

Your file looks ok, except for Marcels' sidebar code. (So you did modify the file! )

The only other reason why your forum code is being converted to html is if you modified your CleanCode function or something. You can post a link to a txt version of your inc_func_posting.asp file. If your CleanCode function is not changed, then I don't know what is converting your forum code into html. But the replies on the split.asp page is to be shown in forum code, as if you were editing the replies. This is to avoid the same problem you are having.

The replies in your database is stored as html, is it not? CleanCode function would then convert the html into forum code (like when you edit a reply).

A single quoted reply works fine. It's when they are nested using two names that it screws up.

txt copy here:

And yea, I said above I added the sidebar... I like it

I don't know why exactly the quote tags are not being converted to forum code. It's probably has to do with your modifications to the cleancode function. Does any other forum code show up in the replies on the split page? like bold or underline, or img tag, etc.?

Anyways, I'm going to update the split mod files in a few minutes so you can use the updated file, and we work from there.

Ok, I won't be able to make the update for today. Need to work on it some more.
So hang on for a little while longer.
