Hi

I couldn't find a moded SQLServer 2000 version of Snitz 3.4.05 which had file attachments working. I was so pleased with Proeder's File Attachment which with a little editing from others in the forum works a treat. I added the Fast SQL Server Search MOD as well.

For those looking for a SQLServer 2000 version of Snitz 3.4.05 with File attachments working you can download it here:

(it includes a BACKUP file for SQL Server 2000 which should be restored as the database called "LSCF". A few database modifications were needed to get file attachments working - hence I included DB).

One last thing - I have moded email notifications. I needed the outgoing notifications to contain the actual posted text in a nice readable format.

Thus when notifications are activated by admin, a HTML format email with the posted text is sent out to anyone subscribed. Note: This is activated for "ASPemail" only. If you select CDOSYS (IIS 5/5.1/6) then posts are sent as plain text (because I could not get HTML working with this email method). Sorry if this feature is annoying and restricts its usefulness.
