Ack... I'm only starting to learn ASP, so trying to read all the regex stuff was making my brain explode. Are you perchance going to package this whole setup as a MOD once you get it working? It's something I'd certainly be interested in, as I have some picture-posting happy people on my forum. |

I will package it, but keep in mind that it does not use Classic ASP for the upload engine. .NET Framework will need to be present on your server. Give me another week of testing and tweaking.
PS. I am not good with Regex stuff either. |

Wonderful. I"m looking forward to seeing it then. Now to make sure that my server has .NET installed. |

<% Response.Write ("Hello World") %>
save the above in file with an .aspx extension, upload it to your server, and if you get Hello World as the result, you should have the framework installed. |

I know I'm a little late dayve, but I just wrote out a function for linking includes in my source script that could easily be modified to do this (although seems you've got it covered)... I'll give you the link anyhow |

no... its just I was a little late on figuring out how to extract the filename from within a specified tag, and when I did figure it out it wasnt for the purposes you were seeking, however I felt that maybe it could still be of some use to you.... |

Oh, that's okay. I appreciate it, but -gary's approach was perfect for what I wanted to do. Thanks again for trying to help me out earlier. |
