I am using Snitz forum 3.4.05 with an MS SQL ODBC database and when I try to click on the "latest post" link I get this error...

quote:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01b6'

Object doesn't support this property or method: 'rsReplies.Find'

/Enduro/topic.asp, line 261

I don't recalling changing the Topic.asp page allthough I did make a few changes to the members.asp page and the default.asp page

Here is the line in Topic.asp where I 'think" there error is originating?
quote:

set rsReplies = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")

Any ideas? Thanks

Change your connection string, in config.asp, to an OLEDB one (one of those with the SQLOLEDB provider). That will fix it.

Make sure your server has the latest MDAC installed (contact your host if you need to). The method needs MDAC 2.5, at least.
Latest MDAC can be found at http://microsoft.com/data

Thanks!

I've sent an email to the IP asking them to check it.

Take care.
