agreed, but I always keep a close eye on certain ports like 21, 25, 80, 110, 1433 and the RDC port for Terminal Services/Remote Desktop (can't recall off the top of my head), for suspicious activity. |

Hmmm, it doesn´t ask me (as I recall) - I can access the site just fine, but when trying to connect for downloading the files, it doesn´t work - if I close the firewall, the downloads work just fine. |

Isn't there a programs tab, somewhere in the firewall, where you can check the programs allowed to connect to the internet? I don't have the free version of the program here to have a look at how you can configure it, but it can be done. |

I'm pretty sure there is... thats how it worked a couple years ago, the last time I used the proggy...
