I have it, it is very powerful for building "desktop applications on the web". ie, if you want to build a web applications (NOT websites) it is very good. If you want to build a "normal website", it totally breaks down IMO. You are stuck to doing everything object-oriented and that is a real pain. Not to mention everything is in a .dll, so you can't just make a minor modification without totally redoing, rebuilding and reuploading. Course, I don't use .NET in general for standard web pages because of this, I stick to "classic" ASP... |

I think it's wonderful - you have to relearn and give up old sloppy coding practices, but it's worth it imho :) |
