I've implemented Snits in three past lives and now have a need to do both an English and a Japanese language implementation here at my new company. Reading through the posts, there are a number of references and links on how best to go about supporting a Japanese forum, but the posts in the Japanese workgroup are two years old.
If 3.4.05 is the current release, and I need to use a 4.0 Beta (v4b03.005?) and modify that with a Japanese language pack, is there a KB on just how to get started?
Any of you - Score and gadfly - still looking for a Japanese language pack? AirWork site is up but under construction and not sure whether he still uses Snitz V4b03 Japaese.
Am returning to Snitz very recenty and catching up things Snitz and noticed your post - a year late, however.
An existing Japanese language pack is for/with V4b03, which I can provide if you still want it. For a more current V3406 compatible international version, you may want to look at Image's 3406 Multilingual V2 which comes with language file... totally differently organized from V4b, except for internationalization codes with additional modifications/enhancements.
As far as I can tell Multilingual V2 currently released primarily with European languages.
My i2Asia site was taken down from Brinkster (low usage and taken out) since early 2004... and it won't be up for a foreseeable future until I figure out what I will be doing.<
