Thanks for this. I haven't seen this come up in my forum yet, but I needed a chance to forget my homework, and this was a good five minute break to do a little minor coding. |

HuwR ; This is not so much a bug, but more a 'flaw', because it should NOT do this. Linking to www... is nonsense, you've got to agree that. Ok, the impact is small, and also the risk is little, however it still is a flaw, and a solution is preferred.
Da_Stimulator ; thanks for the fix.

I see "awww" as "keyboard slang" for awe, which someone with intelligence may not use, but with a public forum you can never tell what people are going to type... and you can also never tell what people are going to click.
If it's not a bug then dont fix it, The code is there for people who dont want it to happen.
I personally see anything that wasnt meant to happen with a script/application a bug, and awww... being linked wasn't meant to happen in my eyes.
Note: Awww is probably popular among female posters showing sympathy. |

I say "awww", "awwwwww" and "awww..." all the time on other forums. It all depends on what the topic calls for. If it's a topic showing something like baby photos i might say "awww..." and so on. So, in my eyes, this is a bug and i'll add this fix.
Thank you for pointing it out and posting a fix |

"awww" in internet slag is the sound you would make when you see a cute cat, or a cute photo of a baby. Like "awww, thats so sweet" and so on. |

I too use Ahhh... and Awwww..., as well as ewwwww... I guess it depends on who you are. I'd tend to use ahhh over awww but I use ewwww.. a lot more. |

"awww" is just net slang, like "m8", "txt" and "cos". You get the idea. Mainly a teen thing tho.
But, in my eyes, as i said, it is a bug. A small bug but still a bug and as such, it should be fixed in the base code. |
