Hi - I've been looking all over (including searching these forums) and can not find in the Snitz forum app how to do more than set up a moderator for a particular forum. When I edit forum properties, I click the little ? symbol next to "Moderators" and get help on "Moderators" and if I scroll down in that help menu I see a help topic called "Moderation" and THAT is exactly what I need but I can't find how to set up moderation on any given forum. I'm running latest version. Thanks for any advice/direction you all can give. My client needs for certain forums to be set up so that users' posts are not actually posted until they are approved by a moderator. I assume this is what the "moderation" feature does. Thanks! Scott
OK I've created a non-admin user and as you instructed, I've changed his user level to Moderator. I'm still not seeing where I can tell a certain forum that all messages posted in this forum must be moderated. Sorry if I'm missing the obvious. Thanks!
You need to edit the category and forum properties for that, by using the little pencil icon on the right side of your browser window. When you do, you will see a drop-down that offers the different possibilities regarding forum moderation.
