robots.txt controls the way indexing spiders can crawl your site looking for content. You can read something about them here
Vega, have you tried changing the second line to "Disallow: none" and see if it gets indexed?

I just checked, and his robots file is correct. It allows all search robots access to his site, is what it is saying.
quote: "Disallow: none"
I don't think that's a valid command Mikel.
Disallow: The value of this field specifies a partial URL that is not to be visited. This can be a full path, or a partial path; any URL that starts with this value will not be retrieved. For example, Disallow: /help disallows both /help.html and /help/index.html, whereas Disallow: /help/ would disallow /help/index.html but allow /help.html. |

You are right, Davio, I just messed some concepts I had used in the past. You can use the "none" keyword if you want to control the way robots index your site using html header tags, it is not valid in robot.txt.
BTW, in a header tag, NONE prevents spiders from indexing the site and following the links there. More information here.
So I was wrong no matter from which side you look at it. Geez! |

As I said vega, you can submit your site address to google using the link I gave you in my first post. |

The easiest way to get your site indexed by google and many other search engines is to have other sites (including forums!) link to your site. Submitting your site's URL to the search engines might work, but that can also take up to two months before your site will show.
Also, with no to few links to your site from other sites, your rank will most likely stay low if you don't use the correct keywords in the right frequency in the right places. |

Also get yourself listed at dmoz.org theres a submission link there too on each page iirc, many search engines including google I believe still use dmoz to seed their searches |
