I use this forum over at http://www.c895fm.com/forum and found a bug. It can be reproduced by doing the following:- Click the URL button* while the focus is NOT on the posting message box
- Put something in if you have it in prompt mode (that's the one I used to "find" it)
- Look at the top of the page. You will see the text you put in.
I don't know if it works with any other buttons. I also don't know how to fix it unless you say something like if focus is not in textbox then put it there and then write text. I don't know any VB/ASP so I can't help. |

I'm unable to reproduce this. I tried with both Mozilla Firefox 1.0 and IE 6. I tested it on the forum you linked to and my own forum.
Firstly, I switched to Prompt mode. I then clicked outside of the message box to remove the focus from it. I clicked the URL button, entered a description, entered a url and it posted the url into the message box.
Did you try it here? Did the same thing happen? |

| I could have sworn that's what I did. It is possible that they upgraded since then, I guess. True, I couldn't reproduce it again, either. |

Upgraded? They couldn't have. Since I read a post over there that says they don't have the funds to support the forum, so if any errors come up, it will have to stay that way.
But if it comes up again for you, just post back here.
Moving this out of the bug forum. |

I'll try not to take offense to that. They keep it up to date, and it's mostly voulenteers and high school students that run it. |
