its already broken off inside the port on the computer... and when I tried a different cable, I just shoved it in more since the new cable had all of the pins intact... its gonna be a project getting it out, I might say screw it and get a usb adapter or a printer that uses usb |

D_S, I've got just what you need under my desk, you could have it for £5 plus the postage (bound to be loads to USA), but it may work out cheaper for you to get one from a computer fair. Nobody uses Parallel ports any more (or at least nobody supplies laptops with them...), so they're pretty defunct technology, so a USB-multiport hub like the amazon one above should be cheap by now, I'd imagine. Mine cost me a fiver (and I never have to use it any more)! |
